Methi Paratha Recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch Fenugreek (Methi Leaves)
  • 1 big bowl Wheat flour
  • ½ cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1 tablespoons Rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger, Garlic, Green Chilies, Coriander paste
  • ½ cup thick Curd
  • ½ teaspoon Carom Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tablespoons red Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • ½ tablespoons Cumin Coriander powder
  • ½ tablespoons Garam Masala powder
  • Salt
  • 1 glass Water
  • ½ cup clarified Butter

Method:

Take only methi leaves from methi bunch. Then, wash cleanly for at least 3 times. After washing methi leaves, chopped the methi finely.

Take one mixing bowl. Add chopped methi into it. Now add Ginger garlic paste, curd, Carom Seeds, Sesame Seeds, red chili powder, cumin coriander powder, turmeric, Garam Masala powder, salt, clarified butter. Mix all the ingredients properly into the methi. Now add rice flour, besan and wheat flour. Mix well. Add water. Knead the dough and make a soft dough.

Keep the dough aside for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, knead the dough again. Make a medium size balls.

Take a half cup of wheat flour in a plate for dusting.

Take the rolling board. Keep one ball on it. Dust the flour on a ball. And roll it. Make a small size chapati. Apply some oil. Fold it into half circle than fold into triangle.

Now coat that triangle into the flour and roll it. And make triangle shape paratha. Like this make all the paratha.

Put the paratha on heated tava and roast from the both side. Apply 1 teaspoon clarified butter from both the sides.

Like this make all paratha.

Serve hot with sweet curd or Chutney or pickle or tomato sauce.
