Ingredients:

  • 1 Bowl Chopped Spinach (Palak)
  • 1 Bowl Wheat Flour
  • Chopped Coriander
  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Coriander powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Chili Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • ½ Teaspoon Ajwain
  • Oil for kneading Dough
  • 1 Cup Ghee

Method:

Take one mixing bowl; add chopped spinach, chopped coriander, ginger garlic paste, curd, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt, sesame seeds, ajwain and oil. Mix well.

Now add wheat flour and knead the dough. It doesn’t need water for kneading the dough. Keep the dough aside for 5 minutes.

Now make the medium size balls from the dough. Sprinkle some flour on rolling board and roll the theplas in round shape.

Once all the theplas done. Heat a tava on a medium flame. Place the theplas on tava. Cook from both the sides. Apply some ghee on it.

Like this prepare all the theplas. Serve hot with curd and pickle.
