  • 2 Alphanso Mangoes or Any Fresh and Flavorful Mangoes.
  • 3 to 4 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 Cardamom
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • Few Saffron strands for Garnishing.


For the mango pulp, here I am taking a 2 fresh alphanso mango. Alphanso Mango is very famous in Kokan Region in Maharashtra. Alphanso also called as Hapus Aamba.

If you don’t have an alphanso mango. You can make, aamras with any other mango which is flavourful and fresh.

Wash the mango and peel it. Remove all the flesh from the mango. Keep aside.

Now take a mixture jar, add sugar and cardamom. Make a fine powder. Now add the mango flesh into this powder and grind it till fine paste. Now add 1 cup milk and grind it.

Our fresh Aamras is ready to serve.

Garnish with Saffron strands.

Serve with Poori.
