  • 8 Alphonso Mango Pulp
  • 1 Whole Iemon juice
  • 1 Bowl sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon salt


Add the mango pulp in a deep kadai. Switch on the gas on a medium low flame.

Stir it. Add sugar into this mango pulp. Mix well. Now add lemon juice and salt. Keep stir it.

You can see water released from the sugar. When it start boiling, keep the gas on a slow flame.

Allow to cook on a slow flame for at least 30 minutes till all water absorbed. 

Remember keep stir it in between otherwise it sticks on the bottom of the kadai.

After 30 minutes the jam looks thicker. You can see in the picture jam is cook well and not stick to the bottom of the kadai.

The whole process will take at least 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Switch off the gas.  Allow to cool it down on a room temperature.  Store it in a air tight container and keep it in the fridge.

Serve it with roti or bread.
