Ingredients:

  • 1 Bowl Mix Dal / Pulses ( Urad dal, chana Dal, Moong Dal, Tur Dal and Masoor Dal)
  • 1 Bowl Rice
  • 1 Teaspoon Methi Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • Butter/ oil/ ghee
  • Water for Grinding.

Method:

Take a all mix dal and rice in a different different bowls. Wash them at least 3 to 4 time and soaked in a water. Add methi seeds, cumin and coriander seeds into the dal.

Soaked the rice and dals for at least 5 hours.

After 5 hours, grind the dal and rice. Use water for grinding and make a smooth paste. Make a nice and smooth dosa batter. Do not make too runny batter.

Now keep this batter in a air tight container. And keep it in warm place for fermentation.

Keep it for at least 8 hours. At next morning you can see the batter nicely fermented.

Now the batter is ready for making dosas. Now add salt into the batter. Mix well.

Grease the pan by oil. Now pour spoonful of batter in the middle of the pan. And spread it in a circular form. Add some butter or oil or ghee on the top of the dosa.

Allow to cook till become golden and crisp. Then turn it. Keep for another 10 seconds.  And remove it from the pan.

Like this make all the Dosa.

Serve this Healthy Mixed Dal Dosa with chutney.
