Moong Dal Chilla.

·       1 cup Moong Dal

·       2 green Chilies

·       Small piece of Ginger

·       1 chopped Onion

·       Chopped Coriander

·       1 tablespoons red Chili powder

·       ½ teaspoon Turmeric

·       Pinch of Asafoetida

·       1 teaspoon Cumin Coriander powder

·       Salt

·       Oil


Wash moong Dal cleanly. Soaked it into the water for atheist 2 hours.

After 2 hours, transfer the Dal into the mixture jar. Add chili and ginger. Make a fine paste. 

Transfer this paste into the mixing bowl. Add chopped onions, coriander, red chili powder, turmeric, asafoetida, cumin coriander powder and salt.

Mix it well. Make a nice mixture not so thick and not so runny. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Now heat a pan on a medium flame. Add at least 1 tablespoons of oil. Once oil get heated, pour some chilla’s batter on an oil. Spread it through spoon. And allow to cook for 5 minutes on a medium flame.

Then, turn it. And allow to cook for another 5 minutes. Cook both the sides till crisp. Make all the chilla’s like this.

Serve hot with, chutney and tomato sauce.
