Peanut Chutney.

Ingredients:

·       ½ cup Peanut

·       ½ Sliced Onion

·       2 garlic Cloves

·       Small piece of Ginger

·       3 to 4 split red Chilies

·       Salt

·       For Tadka:

ü1 tablespoon Oil

ü1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds

ü1 teaspoon  split Urad dal

ü5 to 6 Curry leaves

                           

Method:

Heat a pan on a medium flame, dry roast the peanuts. Keep aside. Then, add very little oil. Add sliced onion, garlic, ginger and red chili. Saute well till change the color.


Transfer the peanuts and fried onions into the mixture jar. Add some salt and water. Make a fine paste. 


Now heat a same pan and make a tadka. Add 1 tablespoon oil. Add mustard seeds, split urad dal and curry leaves. Once dal change the color. Pour the chutney paste into the tadka. Add water as required.


Allow to make warm for few minute.

Switch off the flame.

Transfer the chutney into the bowl.

Serve with appam or Idli or with tomato Dosa.
