RICE KHEER RECIPE.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Rice/ Basmati Rice
  • 2 cup Milk
  • ½ cup jaggery
  • ½ cup grated coconut
  • 1/3 cup chopped dry fruits
  • ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • 1 turmeric leaf
  • 2 to 3 glass water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoon clarified butter

Method:

Wash rice 3 to 4 times. Drain all the water from the rice. Once all the water removed from the rice and spread it on a dry cloth. For drying this rice it will take 4 to 5 hours.

Otherwise you can also do this process one day before making the kheer.

Now in a pan dry roast the rice and then, grind them coarsely.

Heat a kadai with 3 glass of water. Add pinch of salt and ghee into the water. Then, add rice powder into the water. And allow to cook for at least 15 minutes.

Once it cook, add turmeric leaf and add jaggery. Allow to cook for another 5 minutes.

Mix well. Add roasted and chopped dry fruits, green cardamom powder. Then add grated coconut into this kheer.

Once the nice boil comes. Just switch off the flame and add 2 cups of hot milk into the kheer. Stir it.

The rice kheer is ready to eat.
