Sweet Corn and Vegetable Soup.

  • 1 cup fresh Corn
  • 1 finely chopped capsicum
  • 1 finely chopped carrot
  • 7 to 8 chopped garlic cloves
  • ½ inch chopped ginger
  • 1 chopped green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black paper powder
  • 2 to 3 glass of water
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon Corn flour
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing.


Firstly, take a 3/4th cup of corns in a mixture jar and make a fine paste. Keep the 1/4th cup of Corn aside. We will use this at the time of making soup.

Now heat a pan on a slow flame.  Add butter.  Now add Chopped ginger, garlic and green chilies into it. Sauté well for 1 minute.

Now add finely chopped capsicum and carrots.  Add some salt on it and mix well. Cook them for 1 minute then add corns into it. Mix well and again cook for another minute. 

Now add Corn paste into it. Mix well. Add some salt on it and add 2 and ½ glass of water. Stir it. And allow to boil for 2 minutes.

 Till, on the other side make a corn flour slurry. Take one mixing bowl, add 1 tablespoon cornflower add water and make a slurry.

Once nice boil come to soup, add 1 teaspoon black paper powder and 1 teaspoon Vinegar. Stir it.

Then add Corn flour slurry into the soup. Mix well and allow to cook for at least 1 minute.

Now add some Chopped coriander. And switch off the flame.

Serve this delicious Corn soup hot.
