  • ½ Kg Tomatoes
  • 7 to 8 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Inch Ginger
  • 4 Dry Red chilies
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Kala namak
  • 4 Tablespoon vinegar
  • ½ Cup sugar


Wash the tomato, wipe out and make it dry. Cut the tomatoes in square shape. 

Heat the kadai on a medium flame. Add tomatoes, Chopped garlic, ginger and dry red chilies. Keep the lid on a kadai and allow cooking.

Cook the tomatoes till mushy, add some garam masala powder in it. Once all water absorbed from the tomatoes switch off the gas.

Keep aside for 20 minutes for cooling down.

Now grind this tomato mixture from mixture grinder. Then, transfer this paste into the sieve and with the help of spoon, filter it the smooth paste. For this process it will take at least 15 minutes.

Now add this sauce in a kadai and keep it on gas on low flame. Add salt, Kala namak and sugar. Mix well. Allow to boil. You can see the consistency got thicken. Now add vinegar. Stir it.

Keep the gas on a slow flame. Once sauce looks thick switch off the gas.

The tomato Sauce are ready to serve. Serve with sandwiches, cutlets, franky and any other snacks that you like.

Store this sauce in a bottle and keep it in a fridge.
