Vegetable Tikki Burger Recipe.

  • 4 Burger Buns
  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoon Tomato Sauce
  • 3 to 4 Lettuce Leaves
  • Slices Onions and tomatoes
  • For Vegetable Tikki
  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • ½ cup boil green peas
  • ½ cup chopped French Beans
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ tablespoon red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin coriander powder
  • Chopped coriander
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt
  • For frying : Oil
  • For Preparing Batter
  • ½ cup corn flour
  • Salt
  • Water
  • ½ cup Bread crumps


For making vegetable tikki.

Heat any nonstick pan on a medium flame. Add butter. Once butter melted. Add boiled green peas and chopped French beans. Saute well. Add some ginger garlic paste. Allow to cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add red chili powder, turmeric, cumin coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt into it. Mix well. Now add boiled potatoes, lemon juice and chopped coriander. Add salt if required. Mix well.

Allow to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Now switch off the flame. Allow to cool. Then make round shapes tikki.

Make sure the size of the tikki the same as the size of the buns.

For preparing batter.

Take a mixing bowl, add corn flour, salt and water. Mix well. Make a smooth batter. Batter not be too runny.

Now heat a pan, pour some oil for frying tikkies. Dip this tikkies into the corn flour batter. Then place into the bread crumps. Now you place the tikki into the pan for frying. Like this, fry all the tikkies from the both the side.

For making mayonnaise dressing:

Now in a cup, take mayonnaise, add tomato sauce. Mix well. Our sauce is ready to applying on a buns.

Now cut the buns in two parts. Apply some butter on the burger bun slices and roast it on a pan.

Assemble the Burger…

Now apply the mayonnaise sauce on the buns.

Place the lettuce leaf on the bun then, place tikki on it. Now on the tikki add some round shape tomatoes rings and onion rings. Now apply some sauce on the other bun and close the burger with that buns.

And enjoy the delicious veg tikki burger with sauce.

  • Once the burger is assemble, serve immediately with tomato ketchup, mustard sauce and with some French fries.
  • You can also use cheese slice in the burger.
