Carrot Laves Subji.

  • Carrots Leaves
  • ½ cup Soaked moong dal
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 chopped green chilies
  • 5 to 6 chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon turmeric
  • Oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt
  • Grated coconut


Wash the carrot leaves at 3 times and finely chopped.

Heat a kadai on a medium flame. Add oil. Once oil heated, add chopped garlic and chilies. Sauté well.

Add chopped onion. Cook till change the colour.

Now add soaked dal, red chili powder and turmaric in it. Mix well.

After 1 minute add chopped carrot leaves and salt. Mix well.

Cook for at least 10 minutes. Add some water at the time of cooking. Once subj cook add grated coconut.

Mix well and serve with roti or bhakari.
