  • For Chand dal mixture
    • 1 Cup Soaked Chana dal
    • 4 to 5 Garlic cloves
    • ½ inch ginger
    • 3 to 4 green chillies
    • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • Handful of coriander leaves
    • Water for grinding
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 big size chopped onion
  • 1 Chopped green chilli
  • Chopped coriander
  • Salt
  • Oil


For grinding, take one mixture jar. Add soaked dal, ginger, garlic, gren chillies, coriander leaves, cumin and coriander seeds. Add some water and grind it fine paste.

Now remove all this mixture from jar and pour it in a mixing bowl.

Now in this mixture add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, chopped chillies, chopped onion, and chopped coriander. Mix well.

Now heat a pan on a medium flame. Pour some oil in a pan. Once oil heated, pour a big spoonful of mixture in a pan. Spread it with a spoon.

Cook on a medium flame. Once lower side cook flip the poli from other side. Add some oil on it. Allow to cook from both the sides.

Once it cook remove from the pan.

Like this make all the poli.

Serve with spicy coconut chutney or peanut chutney,
