Ingredients:

  • 15 small size potatoes ( Baby Potatoes)
  • 2 large size chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 7 to 8 garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 8 to 10 cashew
  • 4 dry red chilies
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 4 to 5 cloves
  • Small piece cinnamon
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1 green cardamom
  • 1 chopped green chili
  • ½ cup Curd
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin coriander powder
  • Salt
  • Chopped coriander
  • 2 glass of water

Method:

Wash potatoes, and boiled them in water. Add ½ teaspoon of salt it at the time of boiling.

In a kadai, add oil. Once oil heated, add Chopped onion, garlic, ginger and cashew. Sauté well till change the color.  Once onion change the color, add Chopped tomatoes, dry red chili and salt. Mix well. Switch off the gas after tomato cooks.

Now add all this mixture in a mixture jar.  Grind it till fine paste.

Now peel the potatoes. Make holes through fork in potatoes. In a kadai add some oil. Add boiled potatoes in it. Sauté well till potatoes golden brown.

Now remove those potatoes from kadai. Now in a same kadai, add cumin, cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaves and chopped green chilies.  

Now add masala paste, sauté well till masala removed all the oil. Keep the gas on a slow flame. Now add 1 teaspoon cumin coriander powder and garam masala powder in it mixes well.

In a bowl add curd, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin coriander powder and garam masala powder.  Mix well. Add this mixture into onion tomato mixture.  Sauté well.

In a bowl add curd, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin coriander powder and garam masala powder.  Mix well. Add this mixture into onion tomato mixture.  Sauté well.

Once whole masala cook well. Add water in it. Mix well.

Allow to boil. Then, add boiled potatoes in it. Keep it on a gas for more 10 minutes. 

Add Chopped coriander. Switch off the gas.

Serve hot with phulka.
