Matki Usal | Nutritious Sprouded Matki Usal.

·       1 cup Sprouted Matki (Moth)

·       1 chopped Onion

·       1 chopped Tomatoes

·       1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste

·       1 tablespoons red Chili powder

·       ½ teaspoon Turmeric

·       2 tablespoons Onion dry Coconut masala

·       Salt

·       1 Glass Water

·       1 teaspoon Mustard seeds

·       5 to 6 curry leaves

·        2 tablespoon Oil


Heat a kadai on a medium flame. Pour some oil, add mustered seeds. Once mustard seeds splutter add curry leaves and ginger garlic paste. Saute well. Then add chopped onions.


Fry the onions till change the colour. Then add chopped tomatoes. Cook the tomatoes till mushy.


Now add red chili powder, turmeric and kanda khobra vatan into the onions. Fry it nicely.

Now add sprouts mataki into the masala. Add salt. Saute well.


Add 1 glass of hot water. Mix it. Keep a lid on a kadai. Allow to cook on a slow flame for at least 15 minutes.


Once matki cook nicely, add chopped coriander.


Mataki usal is ready to serve.



Serve with chapati or bhakari.
