Moong and Green Peas Dosa.

  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 1 cup green peas
  • ½ cup semolina
  • 2 to 3 Tablespoon rice flour
  • 2 green chilies
  • ½ inch ginger
  • Chopped coriander
  • Salt
  • Water for grinding
  • Butter/ oil


Wash the moong dal 3 times then soaked it for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Before ½ hour of making dosa, soaked rava for 15 minutes.

Then, grind the soaked dal and rava with green peas, ginger, and chilies. Grind it in fine paste. Add water for grinding. Don’t use much water for grinding.

Now remove this batter into the mixing bowl. Now add rice flour, salt and chopped Coriander into this batter. Add the water if required for maintaining the dosa consistency. Keep the batter aside for at least 15 to 20 minutes before making dosa.

After resting of batter, heat the non-stick pan for making dosas. Keep the gas on a medium flame.

Grease the pan by oil. Now pour spoonful of batter in the middle of the pan. And spread it in a circular form. Add some butter on the top of the dosa. Allow to cook till become golden and crisp. Then turn it. Keep for another 10 seconds.  And remove it from the pan.

Like this make all the Dosa. Serve this dosa with chutney.
