·       250 gms Paneer

·       2 chopped Onions

·       2 chopped Tomatoes

·       1 chopped Capsicum

·       2 chopped green Chilies

·       3 to 4 chopped Garlic

·       1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste

·       1 tablespoons red Chili powder

·       1 teaspoon Turmeric

·       ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds

·       Curry leaves

·       1 teaspoon cumin Coriander powder

·       1 teaspoon garam Masala

·       1 tablespoon Kasuri Methi

·       2 tablespoon Oil

·       1 tablespoon Clarified butter (Ghee)

·       Chopped Coriander



Heat a pan on a medium flame, pour 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of ghee. Once oil is heated, add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds starts fluttering, add curry leaves, chopped garlic and green chilies.


Then, add chopped onions. Fry the onions till change the colour. Now add ginger garlic paste. Saute well till raw smell goes out.


Now add chopped tomatoes and capsicum in the onion. Cook the tomatoes and capsicum on a medium flame.


Now add red chili powder, cumin coriander powder, garam masala powder, kasuri methi and turmeric mix it properly. Add salt into this mixture.


Slow down the gas flame.

Now add crumbled paneer on this mixture. Mix gently on a medium flame.


Simmer for 2 minutes, then add some chopped coriander for enhancing the taste of Paneer bhurji.

Serve hot delicious Paneer Bhurji with wheat roti or phulka.
