  • 1 bowl Rava (Semolina)
  • 1 cup Curd (Dahi)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 chopped chilies
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • ½ cup chopped coriander
  • Salt
  • Water
  • 1 teaspoon fruit salt
  • Oil / Butter

Take one mixing bowl. Add rava, whisk curd, ginger garlic paste and salt. Mix well. And add some water and make a thick batter like an uttapam.

Now allow this batter to rest for another ½ hour.

After ½ hour. Mix the batter again and add fruit salt in it. And mix it very gently.

Now the uttapam batter is ready. Now heat pan on a medium flame. Grease the pan with butter or oil. And pour full ladle of batter on the pan. Spread it.

Make sure the uttappams size will be thick not be very thin. Now place the chopped onions, chilies, tomatoes and coriander on the uttapam. Drizzle some butter on the top of the uttpam. Allow to cook on a slow flame.

Once uttapam cooks from one side, then turn it on the other side and allow to cook from both the sides. Like this, make all the uttappams.

And serve hot with coconut chutney or peanut chutney.

Thank you.

Have a wonderful day.
