  • 1 Bowl Soya Chunks
  • 2 Chopped Onion
  • 2 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 6 to 7 chopped garlic
  • 2 chopped green chilies
  • Chopped coriander
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • ½  teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 Green Cardamom
  • Small piece of Cinnamon  
  • Salt
  • 2 Tablespoon oil
  • 2 Tablespoon butter


Soaked the soya chunks in hot water for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes squeeze all the water from the chunks. Add those chunks in mixture jar and grind it.

Now we will start making bhurji. Heat a pan. Add oil and butter. Once oil heated add cumin, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and bay leaf. Once spice splutter add chopped garlic, green chilies and onion. Sauté well.

Cook for minute on a low flame. Once onion change the color add chopped tomatoes. Cook the tomatoes till mushy. Add some chopped coriander and mix well.

Now add red chili powder, turmeric, cumin coriander powder, garam masala powder, kasuri methi and salt. Mix well. Now add grinded soya in it. Mix well. Sprinkle some water. Keep the lid and allow cooking for 5 minutes. Stir well and switch off the gas.

Serve hot with phulka.
