Sweet Corn Aape.

  • 1 cup boiled corn
  • 2 green chilies
  • 4 to 5 garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • Coriander
  • 1 bowl semolina ( Rava)
  • salt
  • ½ Cup curd
  • 1 chopped onion
  • For tempering:
    • 2 tablespoon oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin
    • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
    • 4 to 5 curry leaves
    • 1/3 teaspoon asafoetida
  • 1 sachet ENO


Take a mixture jar. Add boiled sweet corn, green chilies, garlic, ginger and coriander. Maka a fine paste.

Now remove this paste in a mixing bowl. Add curd, semolina and salt into it. Mix well. Add chopped onion. Mix well and make an aape mixture.

Will make tempering for this mixture. Heat a tadka pan. Pour oil. Once oil heated, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida.  Now pour this tadka on the sweet corn mixture. Mix well. Keep this mixture for rest at least for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, heat the aape pan on a low flame. Pour the oil in each cavity. See the mixture, add water if required. Now add one sachet of ENO on it. Mix well.

Now pour this mixture by spoon in each cavity of appe pan. Keep the lid on I and allow to cook on a slow flame. After 2 to 3 minutes, turn the aape. Pour some oil on it. And cook for another side. Once both the sides cook well remove it from the pan.

The delicious sweet Corn Aape is ready to serve.

Like this make all the aape.

Serve hot with chutney.
