  • 4 Medium Size Sweet Potato
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 1 Chopped Green Chili
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/3 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Coriander Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Aamchur Powder
  • Chopped Coriander
  • 5 to 6 Mint Leaves Chopped
  • Salt
  • 2 Tablespoon Corn Starch
  • Water
  • Oil for Frying.


First, wash the sweet potatoes in running water. Remove all dust and mud over it. Then cut into the two pieces.Heat a pot with water on a medium flame and add sweet potatoes into this water. Allow to boil. It can easily cook in 15 minutes.

Once it cook, switch off the flame. Allow to cool it down. Then remove their skin and mashed it. Into the smashed sweet potatoes, add chopped onion, green chili, coriander, mint and ginger garlic paste, then add all the spices like, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin coriander powder, garam masala powder, aamchur powder and salt.

Now mix all the mixture. And make round shape cutlets. Keep this cutlets in a fridge for at least 15 minutes.

Now in a mixing bowl add some corn starch and water. Make a smooth paste. Now remove the cutlets from the fridge. Heat a pan on a medium flame. Add some oil for frying. Now dip the cutlets in a corn starch slurry from both the sides and then keep them in frying pan.

Fry this cutlets from the both the sides till crisp. Now serve this delicious cutlets with mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
